These Terms govern your use of Annex. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use Annex.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use Annex.

Your account

You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure. You can delete your account at any time in Settings.

Community guidelines — zero tolerance

Annex has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behaviour. By posting, you agree not to upload, share, or send content that is:

• hateful, harassing, threatening, or that targets people based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics;
• sexually explicit, pornographic, or that sexualises minors;
• violent, or that incites or glorifies violence or self-harm;
• illegal, infringing, spam, or a deliberate impersonation of another person.

Moderation & enforcement

You can report any post or profile, and block any user, from the “…” menu in the app. We review reported content and remove anything that violates these Terms; content that is reported by multiple users is hidden automatically pending review. We may warn, suspend, or permanently remove accounts that breach these guidelines. We aim to act on reports of objectionable content within 24 hours.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you post. You grant Annex the limited licence needed to store and display your content to the people you share it with. You are responsible for the content you post and must have the right to share it.

Annex is provided “as is”, without warranties. Book metadata and covers are provided by the Google Books API and may be incomplete or inaccurate.
